Gear Choices

Thurvokun: Great set for heavily debuffing enemies. This not only puts minor maim on all targets in the AoE, reducing their damage done, but it also gives them minor defile, reducing healing received. If enemies choose to fight within this, you and your group will for sure have the upper hand in battle!

Transmutation: Gives a massive amount of critical resistance by healing someone with a HoT. If a HoT ticks on someone below 50%, they not only get the crit resistance bonus, but they also take advantage of Troll King.

Shacklebreaker: Helps give us strong resource pools and sustain them, especially with a Sword and Shield bar, having that extra stamina is very beneficial.

All points into magicka.

There is a lot of flexibility with potion choice. Some good options are potions that contain one or more of the following:

  • Invisibility
  • Unstoppable
  • Resource Restoration

  • Animal Companion: Flourish & Bond with Nature
  • Winter’s Embrace: Frozen Armor, Icy Aura, Piercing Cold
  • Green Balance: All
  • Restoration Staff: All
  • Destruction Staff: All
  • Light Armor: Recovery, Evocation, Spell Warding
  • Heavy Armor: All
  • Undaunted: All
  • Assault: All
  • Support: All
  • Alchemy: Medicinal Use

Tips & Misc.

  1. Watch your positioning and learn which skills to use in what situation.
  2. Always keep your Blue Betty up, it’s too good not to.
  3. You are not a damage dealer, you are to support those who can dish out the pain.  Maintain your buffs on yourself and HoTs on your ally’s.
  4. Corrupting Pollen gives a massive decrease to the enemy’s healing output. Make sure to maintain this ability.
  5. You won’t need a mount with Nature’s Embrace.  Just find someone in your group and latch on to them to get to where you need to be.  It takes practice but it’s VERY fun to do.  (Note:  Do not latch onto people in stealth to travel, they may get a little annoyed.)
