Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Magicka Templar PvP Healer Build, Heals and Dreams, for the Elder Scrolls Online! Tired of being wiped while playing PvP? Don’t know what to do to make your alliance succeed? The answer is to become a healer. This build will offer up the best that templars have when it comes to healing in both Cyrodiil and in Battlegrounds.

Gear Choices

Earthgore: This monster set is incredibly powerful, and the healing proc from this can be the difference between living or dying. This is strong for not only keeping yourself alive, but keeping groups of players alive as well. It received a pretty hefty nerf in Elsweyr, but the set is still absolutely worth using for PvP. It’ll save the person with the lowest HP in the AoE at each tick, so it can save multiple people from certain death over its duration.

Transmutation: Gives a massive amount of critical resistance by healing someone with a HoT, which helps prevent sudden influxes of damage from being put on yourself and others. If someone in your group is already running this, Wizard’s Riposte is another option.

Shacklebreaker: Helps give us strong resource pools as well as sustain them. This is one of my personal favorite sets because of how well balanced of a stat spread it gives your character, and it helps round out the stat pools of this build incredibly well.

All points into Magicka.

Vampire vs. Werewolf vs. Mortal

I have decided to take Vampirism off of the build for Elsweyr! While the vampire passives are really nice and mist form was a helpful movement tool, Vampirism makes us really susceptible to Dawnbreakers and flame damage, which makes us a bit too squishy. But the big reason I chose to remove Vampirism was because of the changes to Race Against Time, which is now a viable snare removal/immunity option for this build and doesnt come with any of the drawbacks that vampirism has. If you dont have Summerset though, you will need to continue to use Vampirism for mist form.

Other Important Info

Buff Food

Longfin Pasty with Melon Sauce – Max Health, Magicka and Stamina

Atronach – Increased Magicka Recovery

  1. Argonian – Great race for a healer in PvP. You get bonus magicka, bonus health, bonus healing and an absolutely amazing form of sustain from their potion passive.
  2. Breton – Grants a TON of magicka sustain and a lot of extra tankiness. They’re a fantastic race choice for all magicka units in PvP in Wrathstone.

Tri-Stat (Bugloss, Columbine and Mountain Flower)

All class passives, all one hand and shield passives, all restoration staff passives, light armor (recovery, evocation, spell warding), medium armor (dexterity, wind walker, improved sneak, athletics), all heavy armor passives, all undaunted passives, all assault passives, all support passives, all racial passives, all psijic passives, alchemy (medicinal use).

Tips & Misc.

Breath of Life is not your primary heal. Ideally you should never have to use it, it’s only there for emergencies. Use Healing Springs instead, it’s much more magicka efficient.

While it may be tempting to attack enemies all the time, avoid doing so. Only use your offensive abilities when you’re certain people don’t need healing.

Make sure the people you play with know that your Extended Ritual synergy removes negative effects from them, as well as healing them.

Life Giver is your primary healing ult, while Solar Prison is for offensive pressure. Use whichever ult is required in each situation.
