Introduction

Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Stamina Dragonknight Build PvP, Dragonborn, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for PvP of all kinds: battlegrounds, Cyrodiil, dueling, and Imperial City. This build can be played in both CP and no-CP pvp!

The Dragonborn has new seen a pretty big update for Greymoor! I like to play all of my builds a bit different; my Stamina Necromancer is my more stereotypical “Dizzying Swing stam boi” character, so it left me with the question of what exactly to do with my stamina dragonknight.  So to answer that, I decided to turn him into a werewolf (there’s also been a TON of demand for a werewolf pvp build)! Werewolf is definitely a playstyle that takes some getting used to, as its simplicity is one of its greatest strengths and weaknesses in my opinion. Even though playing as a werewolf is incredibly straightforward, it also does leave some stuff to be desired since your only options are whats on your werewolf bar. With that being said, the werewolf is a ton of fun to play, deals a LOT of damage, and saw some nice quality of life improvements in Greymoor that make it a much more enjoyable playstyle!

Keep in mind that PvP builds are very personal. This is what worked for ME. If you don’t like something about it, change it to fit your playstyle.

Gear Choices

Mighty Chudan: This set you’ll normally never catch me dead wearing on a dragonknight, but this is the one exception. Werewolf has no access to Major Resolve inside of form, so we need this set in order to make sure we have that very important buff active on our character!

Shacklebreaker: This set works extremely well for a werewolf in my opinion since it gives us a very nice spread between stamina and magicka in terms of resource pool size and sustain. As a werewolf, our heal costs magicka, and it costs a LOT of it, so padding that pool as much as we can is really important to make sure we have the resources to heal ourselves!

Clever Alchemist: Amazing set for increasing our damage. Gives us a huge spike of damage whenever we drink our potion, causing our bleeds to tick HARD, and our heal to heal big. I loved using this set before it was buffed a couple patches ago, but ever since its buff, its become one of the best sets for PvP damage in my opinion!

Disciplined Slash: Obviously if you dont have the perfected version of this weapon, you can use the non-perfected, and if you dont have that, just simply use Agility. But, the reason we use this set is for the ultimate generation on our Executioner. Our goal outside of werewolf form is to get back into form, so many choices made in this build are centered around helping us generate ultimate to be able to get back into werewolf form!

Tips & Misc.

  • Maintain your buffs and debuffs at all times to maximize the amount of damage, tankiness and healing the build has to offer.
  • Offensively, your goal is to Feral Pounce to your enemy and then cast the skill as second time for Carnage, which adds a nice bleed to your opponent! Then, fear them with Deafening Roar and hit them with a Howl of Agony. Follow that up with Claws of Anguish, and then go to town with your light attacks.
  • Use Hircine’s Fortitude if you get low on stamina to get a resource boost, or if you need to heal yourself. Dodge cancelling the heal can help alot with making sure you get the most benefit from this. A big thing I noticed playing werewolf is that if you’re taking a lot of pressure (especially in No CP) is to kite to LOS. This heal is all you have in werewolf form, so if you run out of magicka, you’re out of luck unless you kill your opponent.
  • Be sure to feed as much as you can to maintain werewolf form.
