Introduction

Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Stamina Dragonknight Build PvP, Valkyn, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for PvP of all kinds: battlegrounds, Cyrodiil, dueling, and Imperial City. This build can be played in both CP and no-CP pvp!

This Stamina Dragonknight has changed a lot since its last iteration. While I enjoy Dizzying Swing on some of my other classes, for some reason I wasnt feeling it as much in Flames of Ambition on the Dragonknight. I also am not a big fan of stonefist, so that only left one spammable left to try… Power Slam! I’ve always wanted to try a build that uses this as a spammable but could never come up with anything. However, the new CP updates for the Flames of Ambition patch gave me some inspiration on how to make a build work with the skill, and what we came up with is something that is really enjoyable and feels very strong!

The build has been working well for me so far, and it’s been enjoyable using some new sets & skills I’ve never used on stamDK before compared to my older builds!

Keep in mind that PvP builds are very personal. This is what worked for ME. If you don’t like something about it, change it to fit your playstyle.

Gear Choices

Bloodspawn: Bloodspawn has always been one of my favorite sets for StamDK becacuse it gives us everything we could possibly want from our monster helmet set: resistance, ultimate and stamina recovery!

Daedric Trickery: This set has become a recent favorite of mine after giving it a try! It gives us a random major buff between Expedition, Mending, Vitality, Heroism or Protection every 9 seconds that last for 21 seconds! What this means is that we can have up to 3 different major buffs from this set active on us at one time! All of these major buffs are great too, making this an extremely strong set to have!

Warrior’s Fury: Being that this build is focused on blocking to make Power Slam stronger, Warrior’s Fury felt like a logical choice for a 2nd 5 piece set! This set gives us weapon damage whenever we take damage (stacking up to 20 times), allowing us to spike our weapon damage extremely high in the heat of combat! This translates to better damage and better healing, making it a great set for this build.

The list below showcases the order in which champion points should be acquired, the number of points you need to place into that perk and whether or not it needs to be slotted in the CP bar. The Warfare CP perks increase your damage and mitigation and are the most important, the Fitness tree has some miscellaneous sustain and defensive perks and the Craft tree has crafting and non-combat bonuses. Tips & Misc.

  • Maintain your buffs and debuffs at all times to maximize the amount of damage, tankiness and healing the build has to offer.
  • Offensively your goal is to maintain your Noxious Breath and Venomous Claw on your opponent, then swap to your back bar and block their attacks with your shield and then hit them with a Light Attack > Power Slam > Bash combo. As their HP gets low, you can swap to your front bar and use Take Flight into Executioner to finish them off!
  • Defensively you want to use Forward Momentum to remove snares and be able to kite unimpeded, then use Green Dragon Blood and Vigor together to get your heals rolling. If you’re really struggling to stay alive, pop Spell Wall. Not only with this block attacks for you and restore resources with Battle Roar, it’ll stack up your Power Slam very quickly, allowing you to turn the tide with a huge single target attack!
