Introduction

Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Stamina Dragonknight Build PvP, Valkyn, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for PvP of all kinds: battlegrounds, Cyrodiil, dueling, and Imperial City. This build can be played in both CP and no-CP pvp!

Stamina Dragonknight was arguably the hardest class for me to update for Greymoor. I had a lot of trouble finding a setup that met my usual standards of being usable in all types of PvP, with the primary issue being survivability in No CP. With the healing nerf that came in Greymoor, Stamina Dragonknight is definitely feeling it more than a lot of other classes. That nerf was tough for me to workaround until I decided to add in a stat I usually dont utilize all that much: health recovery. Focusing a lot on health recovery gave my build the exact boost it needed defensively, and actually allowed me to survive being pressured by multiple opponents with ease.

Since we have plenty of defensive capability on this setup, we want to have our damage set to be purely offensive. Because of this, I focused on penetration for my offensive 5 piece and heavy DoT pressure from my skills, which I feel is one of the strongest offensive strategies this patch.

Overall, this is a tanky medium armor stamina dragonknight build that deals enough damage to take opponents down, but has the defensive capability to survive playing outnumbered. The build has been working well for me so far, and it’s been enjoyable using some new sets I’ve never used on stamDK before!

Keep in mind that PvP builds are very personal. This is what worked for ME. If you don’t like something about it, change it to fit your playstyle.

Gear Choices

Troll King: This set pairs really well with our defensive 5 piece, giving us a huge boost to our health recovery when we are low alongside of boosting our healing by 4% at all times. Although this set was nerfed going into Greymoor, I definitely think it’s still a solid option to use and have really liked using it on my stamDK!

Orgnum’s Scales: This set was changed recently to be like a combination of Eternal Vigor and Ancient Dragonguard and I absolutely love it. While you’re below 60% HP, your resistances skyrocket and your health recovery gets a really nice boost. Once Troll King procs alongside of it, your health will be skyrocketing incredibly fast. This set fixed the main problem I felt I was having with my stamDK which was struggling to recover from being placed on the back foot.

Blessing of the Potentates: One of the best back-bar defensive sets in the game. Being able to get 5% damage mitigation against players is an extremely beneficial thing to have, especially in a high-damage meta like what we are seeing with Greymoor.

Stuhn’s Favor: Penetration is one of the strongest offensive stats for PvP, and since our build has plenty of defense with the other sets we are using, I wanted to put on a set on that gave us the most burst damage possible. Stuhn’s has less uptime than something like Spriggan’s, but gives more damage, which is exactly what this setup needs. If you dont like this set or cant craft it, just use Spriggan’s in its place (jewelry should be infused instead of Robust).

Tips & Misc.

  • Maintain your buffs and debuffs at all times to maximize the amount of damage, tankiness and healing the build has to offer.
  • Offensively your goal is to maintain your DoTs on your opponent, hit them with a Dizzying Swing to set them offbalance and proc Stuhn’s, and then leap. When Stuhn’s is active, that’s when your damage is the highest, so take full advantage of it!
  • Defensively you want to use Shuffle to remove snares and be able to kite unimpeded, then use Fragmented Shield and Vigor together to get your heals started and proc Troll King when your low. Orgnum’s, Troll King, and Vigor will heal you while low, but if you need a burst heal refresh your Rally!
