Introduction
Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Stamina Dragonknight Build PvP, Valkyn, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for PvP of all kinds: battlegrounds, Cyrodiil, dueling (may lack a bit in this area due to being D-Swing focused), and Imperial City. This build can be played in both CP and no-CP pvp!
Stamina Dragonknight has been feeling better and better for me the more I’ve been playing it since the battlespirit healing nerfs. Switching up my mentality towards my stamina DK was one of the biggest things that attributed to this build’s success, leaning towards becoming a D-Swing machine and passively increasing its damage via penetration and percent damage increases, while giving ourselves passive resistance and health recovery bonuses to help keep us alive in a meta where healing feels lackluster.
The build has been working well for me so far, and it’s been enjoyable using some new sets I’ve never used on stamDK before compared to my older builds!
Keep in mind that PvP builds are very personal. This is what worked for ME. If you don’t like something about it, change it to fit your playstyle.

Gear Choices
Bloodspawn: After Bloodspawn’s minor buffs, I felt it was good enough to return onto my stamina DK and boy did I miss this set! Bloodspawn has always been one of my favorite sets for StamDK becacuse it gives us everything we could possibly want from our monster helmet set: resistance, ultimate and stamina recovery! If you want the build to have higher damage, or if you feel that the build’s survivability is fine, replace this with Balorgh.
Orgnum’s Scales: This set was changed recently to be like a combination of Eternal Vigor and Ancient Dragonguard and I absolutely love it. While you’re below 60% HP, your resistances skyrocket and your health recovery gets a really nice boost. This set fixed the main problem I felt I was having with my stamDK which was struggling to recover from being placed on the back foot.
Death’s Wind: One of the best back-bar 2 piece defensive sets. Being able to get increased armor on our back bar is an extremely beneficial thing to have, especially in a high-damage meta like what we are seeing recently.
Hunding’s Rage: Although in the past I went with Stuhn’s for maximum penetration, I’ve found that recently going back to a set that gives a big boost to weapon damage feels a little bit better in terms of overall damage and healing. The reason this feels good specifically on stamina dragonknight is due to the fact that the class has such easy access to major and minor brutality, allowing us to get a big boost to our weapon damage. If you feel that you can sustain easily with this build, you can run New Moon Acolyte for even more damage, but at the cost of a bit of sustain.

Tips & Misc.
- Maintain your buffs and debuffs at all times to maximize the amount of damage, tankiness and healing the build has to offer.
- Offensively your goal is to maintain your Noxious Breath on your opponent, hit them with a Dizzying Swing to set them offbalance, leap and then use executioner to finish them off.
- Defensively you want to use Forward Momentum to remove snares and be able to kite unimpeded, then use Fragmented Shield and Vigor together to get your heals rolling. Orgnum’s and Vigor will give you good healing over time, but if you need a burst heal in a pinch refresh your Cauterize!
