Introduction
Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Solo Magicka Sorcerer Build PvE, Electromancer, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for playing solo PvE content, such as questing, public dungeons, Maelstrom Arena, etc.! This build is themed based on the lightning aspects of the sorcerer class. We are able to deal a ton of AoE damage with our lightning abilities, strong single target damage with skills like Force Pulse and Crystal Fragments, all while keeping ourselves alive easily with Critical Surge, the Twilight Matriarch and our strong damage shields! My goal with this magsorc build was to create a magicka sorcerer build that could play solo effectively, but had strong thematic ties, so you will be a true electromancer in the Elder Scrolls Online with this themed solo PvE build!

Gear Set Explanation
Slimecraw: This set is incredibly powerful for adding damage to a build, giving us a flat 8% damage increase via minor berserk. On top of that, the 1 piece giving us critical plays perfectly into our crit stack, which gives us more heals via Critical Surge!
Law of Julianos: One of the most solid sets in the game, Julianos is incredibly strong for how easy it is to acquire. This crafted set is a staple for magicka damage dealers, and there is a reason you always see it recommended for newer players! The bonuses to magicka, critical, and the big boost to spell damage on the 5 piece just make it a very well rounded set to use for PvE!
Necropotence: The best set for any build that uses a pet, this gives us a massive boost to our maximum magicka pool while we have our Matriarch pet up (which will be all the time). This huge boost to our maximum magicka not only gives us a big damage boost, but it makes our shield size significantly larger, greatly increasing our survivability.
Crushing Wall: The Maelstrom staff is the best staff to have on your back bar, giving us a big boost to our light and heavy attack damage to enemies in our Elemental Blockade. If you do not have this set, just use another Julianos staff on the back bar!
Attributes

Vampire vs. Werewolf vs. Mortal
For this build we are playing as a Mortal. This build doesn’t need anything that the vampire or werewolf skill lines give us.

Resource Management & Rotation
- Maintain Elemental Blockade, Liquid Lightning, Critical Surge and Boundless Storm at all times to maintain the build’s maximum offensive/defensive potential.
- Maintain Elemental Drain on your primary target to ensure you’re dealing maximum damage and getting the benefits of minor magickasteal for sustain!
- In between DoT/buff applications, use Light Attack > Force Pulse. When Crystal Fragements procs, use that instead of Force Pulse!
- If you are in a big AoE situation, Elemental Rage is going to be your ultimate of choice. In single target fights, use the Atronach instead!
- If you know a boss/mob is going to deal a big amount of damage, use your Hardened Ward to defend yourself. Also, if you take a huge spike of damage, use your Matriarch’s ability to give yourself a nice burst heal!
