Introduction
Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Solo Magicka Dragonknight Build PvE, The Wyvern, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for playing solo PvE content, such as questing, public dungeons, Maelstrom Arena, etc.! This build has extremely strong Single Target and AoE pressure with the abilities we have at our disposal, as well as plenty of sustain and healing to keep ourselves alive reliably. My goal with this build was to create a magicka dragonknight build that could play solo effectively, but had strong thematic ties to the class’s identity!

Gear Set Explanation
Valkyn Skoria: Amazing monster set for magicka dragon knights due to how many DoT skills the class has. The boost to health that the one piece bonus gives is very helpful for soloing, and the meteor brings strong single target and AoE damage to help us clear through mobs and bosses quickly!
Burning Spellweave: Staple magicka dragon knight set, this set offers us a ton of damage and helps keep the burning status effect active, which is important to DK’s not only for damage, but burning ticks help grant us magicka back via the new combustion passive!
Seducer: An amazing damage set for sustain. Magicka Dragonknights do not have the best sustain, so wearing a set like Seducer helps a lot by making our very expensive skills significantly cheaper, allowing us to sustain our magicka pool while soloing.

Vampire vs. Werewolf vs. Mortal
You are playing a mortal for this build. Since we are not using the vampire spammable on this setup, we have no use for the skill line.

CP is very flexible; you can make it whatever you like and prefer – just make sure you’re adhering to jump points (guide is on my website if you dont know what those are).

NOTE: If you’re not playing as a Breton and you’re having issues sustaining, change one of your jewelry glyphs to a Reduce Spell Cost glyph or use Witchmother’s Potent Brew for your buff drink.
Potions
Essence of Spell Crit (Restore Health, Magicka and Major Prophecy)

NOTE: If your budget is tight, you can just use regular restore magicka potions!
Passives
Class (all), Light Armor (all), Heavy Armor (all except the ones that require you to wear 5 pieces), Medium Armor (all except the ones that require you to wear 5 pieces), Destruction Staff (all), Undaunted (all), Racial (all), Mages Guild (all), Fighter’s Guild (all), Alchemy (Medicinal Use)
Resource Management & Rotation
- Maintain Elemental Drain, Degeneration, Unstable Wall of Elements, Engulfing Flames, and Burning Embers on your target.
- Maintain Volatile Armor at all times to help keep you tanky.
- If none of your DoTs need to be refreshed, you want to light attack weave with Force Pulse.
- If you know a boss/mob is going to deal a big amount of damage, use your Harness Magicka to defend yourself. If you need to heal yourself in a pinch, reapply burning embers. If you still need more healing, Coagulating Blood is there for emergencies!
- When you’re low on magicka, use a heavy attack to restore resources!
