Introduction

Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Stamina Warden PvE DPS Build, Nature’s Commander, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for general PvE, vDungeons and Trials.

The Stamina Warden is a great all around class providing both high AoE and single target damage all while sustaining really well thanks to the passives and skills that the warden offers such as the bull netch.  The Stamina Warden also offers a ton of healing through the Green Balance tree and for that reason is one of the more forgiving stamina classes for a beginner to start with.

Attributes

64 Stamina

It is important for end-game PvE to have 17,000+ health with buff-food active. Depending on your choice of race and current champion points you may or may not reach this threshold. If you do not have 17,000 health put enough points into health to reach this threshold and the rest into Stamina.

Main Bar – Dual Wield:  Rending Slashes, Cutting Dive, Subterranean Assault, Bull Netch, Bird of Prey, Wild Guardian

Back Bar – Bow: Endless Hail, Rearming Trap, Razor Caltrops, Poison Injection, Bird of Prey, Wild Guardian

Alternative Skills

Steel Tornado – Slot this for trash fights, has a built in execute and deals a ton of AOE damage on top of Caltrops and Endless Hail.

Resolving Vigor – Slot this if you need some extra healing, pretty much mandatory for content such as Maelstrom Arena.

Green Lotus – You can switch Bird of Prey on the back bar for this if you prefer, personal preference.

ULTIMATES

If you would rather not use the bear (Wild Guardian) ultimate you can replace it with Dawnbreaker on the front-bar and back bar Ballista.

Resource Management & Rotation

The following is the rotation that works for me. Depending on your race / champion points and other factors you may need to add more heavy attack weaves on your front-bar per rotation to sustain throughout long fights.

LA – Light Attack

HA – Heavy Attack

WS – Weapon Swap

Before entering the fight make sure to cast Bull Netch and Wild Guardian.

The most important part of the stamina warden rotation is Subterranean Assault, which we use every third cast to ensure a higher uptime on major fracture and because it is one of our highest damaging abilities. To do this it requires bar swapping mid bow bar rotation to recast Sub Assault. If this is too complicated just stick to going through your entire rotation without double bar swapping.

Dual Wield:

LA – Sub Assault – LA – Rending Slashes – LA – Cutting Dive – LA – Sub Assault – LA – Cutting Dive – LA – Cutting Dive – LA – Sub Assault – WS

Bow:

Endless Hail – LA – Rearming Trap – WS – LA – Sub Assault – LA – BS – Razor Caltrops – LA – Poison Injection – WS

Reapply Bull Netch at the end of your dual wield rotation when needed and use one less cutting dive.

When you need to cast Wild Guardian (ultimate) replace the cutting dive after rending slashes with it.

Tips & Misc.

Vampire

Being a Vampire provides a free 10% Magicka and Stamina Recovery through the Supernatural Recovery passive. The downside being up to 25% extra flame damage taken. The stamina recovery is redundant for the recommend races I provided as you’re able to sustain easily via heavy attacks and weapon power potions and for that reason I don’t go Vampire but the option is there.

Survivability

If you’re having trouble surviving feel free to replace Rending Slashes with the alternative morph Blood Craze and replacing Shrouded Daggers with Bloodthirst.  Both will reduce your DPS but provide you a ton of survivability.
