Introduction

Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Stamina Warden PvE DPS Build, Nature’s Commander, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for general PvE, vDungeons and Trials.

This build is focused around the War Machine set to not only post high DPS numbers yourself but also buff and support the other damage dealers in your group. The Stamina Warden makes a fantastic support DPS without losing a ton of its own power to fill that role.

Attributes

64 Stamina

It is important for end-game PvE to have 17,000+ health with buff-food active. Depending on your choice of race and current champion points you may or may not reach this threshold. If you do not have 17,000 health put enough points into health to reach this threshold and the rest into Stamina.

  • Steel Tornado – Slot this for trash fights, has a built in execute and deals a ton of AOE damage on top of Caltrops and Endless Hail.

  2. Khajit
  3. Orc
  4. Wood Elf

Potions/Poisons

Potions

Weapon Power Potions (Weapon Damage, Weapon Critical and Stamina)

Requires Blessed Thistle, Dragonthorn and Wormwood to create.

Poisons

Damage Health Poison IX

Requires Fleshfly Larva, Blessed Thistle and Nightshade.

The dual ravage health poison has surged in popularity this patch. They are very expensive but if possible you should be running this poison on your bow bar. As an alternative you can use a Disease enchantment albeit at a DPS loss.

NOTE: I usually only slot this for boss fights otherwise I stick with the Disease enchantment.

Passives

Animal Companion (ALL), Winter’s Embrace (ALL), Green Balance (ALL), Dual Wield (ALL), Bow (ALL), Medium Armor (ALL), Fighters Guild (Intimidating Presence, Slayer, Banish the Wicked, Skilled Tracker), Undaunted (ALL), Racial (ALL), Alchemy (Medicinal Use).

Resource Management & Rotation

The following is the rotation that works for me. Depending on your race / champion points and other factors you may need to add more heavy attack weaves on your front-bar per rotation to sustain throughout long fights.

  • LA – Light Attack
  • HA – Heavy Attack
  • WS – Weapon Swap

Before entering the fight make sure to cast Bull Netch, Wild Guardian and if you’re not running Weapon Power Potions then cast Green Lotus.

You should begin your rotation on your back (bow) bar.

Dual Wield:

LA – Subterranean Assault – HA – Rending Slashes – HA – Shrouded Dagger – LA – Subterranean Assault – LA – Deadly Cloak – ( Wild Guardian ) – WS

Bow:

Endless Hail – LA – Rearming Trap – LA – Poison Injection – LA – Razor Caltrops –  ( Betty Netch) – WS

You should be using your ULTIMATE whenever it is available. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you only cast your ultimate on your front ( Dual Wield) bar because we lose the War Machine set bonus when we’re on our bow bar.

Reapply Betty Netch every second rotation.

Tips & Misc.

Vampire

Being a Vampire provides a free 10% Magicka and Stamina Recovery through the Supernatural Recovery passive. The downside being up to 25% extra flame damage taken. The stamina recovery is redundant for the recommend races I provided as you’re able to sustain easily via heavy attacks and weapon power potions and for that reason I don’t go Vampire but the option is there.

Survivability

If you’re having trouble surviving feel free to replace Rending Slashes with the alternative morph Blood Craze and replacing Shrouded Daggers with Bloodthirst.  Both will reduce your DPS but provide you a ton of survivability.
