Introduction

Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Stamina Warden Build PvE, Nature’s Commander, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for general PvE, vDungeons and Trials.

The Stamina Warden is a great all around class providing both high AoE and single target damage all while sustaining really well thanks to the passives and skills that the warden offers such as the bull netch.  The class offers a ton of healing through the Green Balance tree and for that reason is one of the more forgiving stamina classes for a beginner to start with.

Gear Explanation & Alternatives

Velidreth: Tried and tested stamina DPS monster set. Fires three spores forward in a cone, multiple can hit the same target.

Arms of Relequen: Relequen vastly outperforms every other set in strictly single target and fights have that high time on target. Keep in mind, it is a situational set, but in those single target fights it really does shine. It comes in two forms, Perfected Arms of Relequen and Arms of Relequens, with the perfected version having an additional stamina bonus on the 5PC.

Berserking Warrior:  For PvE, critical is the name of the game, and this set gives an absolute ton of it! Since we can get major slayer more reliably from our allies, we are able to drop Lokkestiiz and run Berserking Warrior once again! If you dont have anyone in your group running master architect/war machine or a way to give the group major slayer, Lokkestiiz is still an option instead of Berserking Warrior if you want to use it!

Thunderous Volley: Simply the best back bar two-piece set for us to use, buffing the damage of our Volley by a significant amount.

Attributes

All points into stamina.

Skills

Whirling Blades Cutting Dive Subterranean Assault Bull Netch Bird of Prey Wild Guardian
Endless Hail Barbed Trap Growing Swarm Resolving Vigor Bird of Prey Wild Guardian

Main Bar – Dual Wield:  Whirling Blades, Cutting Dive, Subterranean Assault, Bull Netch, Bird of Prey, Wild Guardian

Back Bar – Bow: Endless Hail, Barbed Trap, Growing Swarm, Resolving Vigor, Bird of Prey, Wild Guardian

Vampire vs. Werewolf vs. Mortal

For this build we play as a mortal, as neither vampire nor werewolf give us anything the build needs.

Other Important Info

Buff Food

Braised Rabbit with Spring Vegetables (Max Health & Stamina)

Redguard and Bosmer can comfortably sustain the rotations I provide whilst using bi-stat food.

Artaeum Takeaway Broth / Dubious Camoran Throne (Max Stat and Recovery)

If you are having trouble sustaining due to your group support, race and champion points go with this food instead.

Races with no inherent stamina sustain such as Orc, Khajiit and Dark Elf should run this food.

Mundus

Shadow – Increases Critical Damage

Race

  1. Orc
  2. Khajiit / Dark Elf
  3. Redguard / Bosmer

Potions

Potions

Weapon Power Potions (Weapon Damage, Weapon Critical and Stamina)

Requires Blessed Thistle, Dragonthorn and Wormwood to create.

Passives

Animal Companion (ALL), Winter’s Embrace (ALL), Green Balance (ALL), Dual Wield (ALL), Bow (ALL), Medium Armor (ALL), Fighters Guild (Intimidating Presence, Slayer, Banish the Wicked, Skilled Tracker), Undaunted (ALL), Racial (ALL), Alchemy (Medicinal Use).

Resource Management & Rotation

The following is the rotation that works for me. Depending on your race / champion points and other factors you may need to add more heavy attack weaves on your front-bar per rotation to sustain throughout long fights.

LA – Light Attack

HA – Heavy Attack

WS – Weapon Swap

Before entering the fight make sure to cast Bull Netch.

The most important part of the Stamina Warden rotation is Subterranean Assault which we cast every third ability to ensure a higher uptime on major fracture and because it is one of our highest damaging abilities. To do this it requires bar swapping mid bow bar rotation to recast Subterranean Assault.

Dual Wield: LA – Sub Assault – (LA – Cutting Dive x2) – LA – Sub Assault – (LA – Cutting Dive x2) – Sub Assault – WS

Bow: LA – Endless Hail – LA – Barbed Trap – WS – LA – Sub Assault – BS – Growing Swarm – WS

  • Reapply Bull Netch at the end of your dual wield rotation when needed and use one less cutting dive.
  • When you need to cast Wild Guardian (ultimate) use one less cutting dive.
  • If heavy attacks are needed to sustain the best way to implement them is to LA – Sub Assault – HA – Cutting Dive. Cutting Dive is mostly a filler for when nothing else needs to be cast and heavy attacks are not needed for sustain.
  • Replace Cutting Dive with Whirling Blades when your target is below 25% HP.

Tips & Misc.

If you’re having trouble surviving feel free to replace Rending Slashes with the alternative morph Blood Craze and swapping Bird of Prey on the bow bar to another utility skill such as a Vigor or Green Lotus for added healing.
