Introduction

Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Stamina Necromancer DPS PvP Build, the Reaper, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for PvP of all kinds: battlegrounds, Cyrodiil, dueling, and Imperial City. This build can be played in both CP and no-CP pvp, and the build changes are noted below!

This build is a heavy armor setup that is very well rounded in all areas – it’s incredibly tanky, has good sustain, decent movement and respectable weapon damage. This setups goal is to be incredibly tanky to be able to camp around bodies and go for kills with our ult, while having plenty of sustained pressure to support it. We use the full pet suite that the necromancer has to offer, so even if we need to move and LOS, we can easily drop another corpse to keep our heals and resource regeneration running!

This patch, DoT damage is incredibly high, which is why I went for a HoT style defensively. The build sports the great burst that Necromancers are known for, but also adds in a ton of DoT support via some of the newly buffed skills/passives. All in all, this is a setup that will serve you well in Scalebreaker!

Keep in mind that PvP builds are very personal. This is what worked for ME. If you don’t like something about it, change it to fit your playstyle.

Gear Choices

Troll King: This set gives an amazing amount of survivabilty in this heavy DoT meta we are seeing. After Pirate Skeleton was gutted with the scalebreaker patch, I knew Troll King would be the monster set of choice for this build. Troll King, combined with all of the HoTs in our kit, allow us to combat the current trend of DoT heavy builds we are seeing.

Impregnable: This is one of my favorite defensive set options due to the fact that it provides an amazing stat spread, and really helps protect you against burst. This patch though with the DoT meta, this helps also dampen those DoT crits, allowing you to survive longer and let your HoTs heal you up.

Hunding’s Rage: A really solid gear set for damage in a stamina PvP build. Hunding’s gives us some more stamina, a solid amount of weapon damage for the 5 piece, and two lines of critical, making this set a great choice for a build like this. Between this set and our potions, we have a very respectable crit chance for a heavy armor build.

Caustic Arrow: The Master’s Bow unlocks a ton of damage for any build that can afford to back bar this set. Between this set and the glyph we have on the bow, we add 725 (unbuffed) weapon damage to the target we are attacking, allowing us to burst them down that much quicker.

Tips & Misc.

  • Maintain your Summoner’s Armor, Spirit Guardian and Forward Momentum to make sure you have your major brutality, mitigation, endurance and resistances up at all times.
  • Blastbones+Dizzying Swing is your primary combo. Add in Onslaught to the mix when you’re looking to secure a kill.
  • Maintain Mortal Coil as much as you physically can. This HoT gives an insane amount of healing and a nice bit of resource regeneration.
  • If you are facing a large group and under a lot of pressure, your best bet is to save up for the Ravenous Goliath ultimate. This allows you to deal a ton of AoE damage while healing, and also being super tanky!
