How to Level Up Antiquities 1-10 FAST in ESO

How to Level Up Antiquities 1-10 FAST in ESO

With Elder Scrolls Online’s (ESO) latest chapter Greymoor, a 2 new skill lines were introduced via a system called Antiquities! In this guide, I cover the fastest way to level those skill lines from 1-10 so you can start farming your mount and mythic items as quickly as possible!

Once you get your skill line and complete the tutorial in Western Skyrim, the 1-10 leveling is broken down into 4 simple phases (I’d recommend having about 25 spare skill points to use this method):

  • Phase 1 – Level 1-3: Go to Artaeum and open up your journal and check your Scrying tab. You’ll have a green lead for the zone (that you just get by default, you dont need to farm it). Use that green lead and go through the scrying and excavation process for that lead. This “base” lead that you get is repeatable, so you want to do that process of scrying and excavating that lead over and over again until you hit level 3. Place skill points each time you level.
  • Phase 2 – Level 3-5: Same logic as the first phase; in Artaeum, use that green lead and go through the scrying and excavation process for that lead, but when you do that repeatable green lead, you’ll also get a repeatable blue lead. Unlike the green lead, the blue lead will disappear after you use it, so simply re-do the green lead to get another blue lead. You’ll alternate between the green and blue lead in Arateum until you hit level 5. Again, place skill points as you level up.
  • Phase 3 – Level 5-7: Now we are going to move onto purple leads using the same logic as phase 2. After you do the repeatable blue lead, you’ll get a purple lead from it,  but this lead can only be done once. So what you’re going to want to do is bounce from zone to zone, doing the green, blue and then purple leads. Once you do the base purple lead for a zone, go to the next one. I recommend starting with the new player zones first as those tend to be smaller in size, and therefore you’ll have less ground to cover when running around. Again, place skill points as you level up.
  • Phase 4 – Level 7-10: This can be where your journey ends if you want it to be as you only need level 7 scrying and excavation to be able to do master leads (for mythic items and the mount). If you do want to level up to 10, I’d recommend farming high quality leads from treasure chests, world bosses, thieving, fishing, etc. and going through the scrying & excavation process on those leads until you get to 10!
