Introduction
Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Solo Stamina Warden Build PvE, the Ranger, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for playing solo PvE content, such as questing, public dungeons, Maelstrom Arena, etc.! This build is themed based on the stereotypical “Ranger” fantasy class, with a heavy focus on bow utilization and an animal companion. The warden is one of the best classes able to achieve this since it has the bear animal companion as an ultimate, and a class kit that can be heavily leaned on for ranged damage. We are able to deal a ton of AoE damage with our warden and bow skills, strong single target burst with the bear execute, all while keeping ourselves topped off with the heals we bring in our skill loadout! My goal with this StamDen build was to create a stamina warden build that could play solo effectively, but had strong thematic ties, so you will be a true Ranger in the Elder Scrolls Online with this themed solo PvE build!

Gear Set Explanation
Ring of the Pale Order: This set is the strongest mythic for solo PvE. We get passively healed as we deal damage, and none of the drawbacks of this set apply to use since this is a solo PvE build!
Magma Incarnate: Since we are wearing a mythic, we have 1 open gear slot. This set gives us a boost to our sustain, increasing both our magicka and stamina recovery!
Hunding’s Rage: One of the most solid sets in the game, Hunding’s is incredibly strong for how easy it is to acquire. This crafted set is a staple for stamina damage dealers, and there is a reason you always see it recommended for newer players! The bonuses to stamina, critical, and the big boost to weapon damage on the 5 piece just make it a very well rounded set to use for PvE!
Spriggan’s Thorns: This set is the peanut butter to Hunding’s Rage’s jelly. This staple stamina damage dealer’s set gives us a huge boost to our physical penetration, allowing us to further reduce the resistance of the mobs we are fighting, and greatly increasing our damage. This set is even more valuable in a solo build since we dont have allies to help us reach desired penetration levels!
Thunderous Volley: The Maelstrom bow is the best bow to have on your back bar, giving us a big boost to our Endless Hail’s damage. If you do not have this set, just use a Spriggan’s bow or an Agility bow on the back bar instead!
Attributes
All points into Stamina.
Vampire vs. Werewolf vs. Mortal
For this build we are playing as a Mortal. This build doesn’t need anything that the vampire or werewolf skill lines give us.
Skills
Front Bar – Bow: Crushing Weapon, Subterranean Assault, Growing Swarm, Acid Spray, Bird of Prey, Wild Guardian
Back Bar – Bow: Endless Hail, Resolving Vigor, Green Lotus, Ice Fortress, Bull Netch, Wild Guardian
Champion Points
The list below showcases the order in which champion points should be acquired, the number of points you need to place into that perk and whether or not it needs to be slotted in the CP bar. The Warfare CP perks increase your damage and mitigation and are the most important, the Fitness tree has some miscellaneous sustain and defensive perks and the Craft tree has crafting and non-combat bonuses. Other Important Info
Buff Food
Dubious Camoran Throne – Maximum Health, Stamina and Stamina Recovery
Mundus
The Thief – Increased Critical Damage
Race
- Nord (tankiest option & my personal recommendation)
- Orc (highest damage)
- Wood Elf (use Braised Rabbit and Spring Vegetables food instead of Dubious)
Potions
Any sort of stamina potions that gives stamina restoration/major endurance will work perfectly fine!
Passives
Class (all), Medium Armor (all), Heavy Armor (all), Bow (all), Psijic Order (all), Undaunted (all), Racial (all), Alchemy (Medicinal Use)
Resource Management & Rotation
- Maintain Endless Hail, Green Lotus, Ice Fortress, Bull Netch and Growing Swarm at all times to maintain the build’s maximum offensive/defensive potential.
- Once you have your buffs rolling and you use your two big AoE skills (Growing Swarm and Endless Hail), you’re going to want to cast: Subterranean Assault -> Light Attack -> Acid Spray -> (Light Attack -> Crushing Weapon) x2.
- Weave in your Bear’s Guardian Savagery skill every time you hit 75 ultimate. This is incredibly important when your enemy is below 25% health since this skill also acts as your execute.
- If you know a boss/mob is going to deal a big amount of damage, dodge roll and use your Resolving Vigor to heal yourself. You’ll be also getting a ton of passive heals from your passives and light attacks due to Green Lotus!
