Introduction

Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Stamina Warden Healer PvE Build, Vigorspam, for the Elder Scrolls Online!

This is my Stamina based Warden healer for the Dragonhold patch.  It’s an ongoing work in progress and was built to see how far the Stamina heals held up to Magicka in a competitive environment. Before this was written, the build went through many renditions.  This is the build I am currently statified enough to make a guide from.

Viability:

Many times I get asked if this build is ‘viable’ and I’d like to address this.  If you are looking to push scores for your high end raiding guild, then this build is not for you.  The build is intended to challenge the user, while providing a fun alternative to the meta builds. Using this exact build, I have healed the following content:

  • Veteran Sunspire (tombs healer)
  • Veteran Halls of Fabrication
  • Multiple DLC Dungeon Hardmode, No Death, Speedrun clears
  • All Craglorn Veteran trials

This build brings all the buffs and debuffs a conventional healer would bring to a trial with the exception of one, Elemental Drain.  To offset this somewhat, I run full duration Minor Breech poisons on my backbar.  As for the resource gain from Minor Magickasteal, I compensate that with Symphony of Blades and Energy Orbs. If you are still low on Magicka at that point, have someone else run Elemental Drain or ask for Hollowfang.

Attributes

Skills

Echoing Vigor Soothing Spores Green Lotus Bursting Vines Bull Netch Healing Thicket
Razor Caltrops Budding Seeds Energy Orb Growing Swarm Symbiosis Aggressive Horn

Front bar – Bow:

  • Echoing Vigor – This is your bread and butter. Cast this to early and often to offset any damage the party will take, as well as buff them with Powerful Assault.
  • Soothing Spores – This is your burst heal. Sometimes hard to control since it is conal based.  Mind your positioning during fights to catch as many people as you can in it’s effect.
  • Green Lotus – Excellent for keeping group members topped off.
  • Bursting Vines – Important skill for giving group members resources. You will not be able to cast this as often as a magicka user, but really 1 or 2 casts every 10 seconds is all that is needed in 4 man dungeons.
  • Bull Netch – Restores stamina and grants Major Brutality for free. Keep this up always.
  • ULT – Healing Thicket – Low ultimate emergency heal in high mobility fights.

Back bar – Bow:

  • Razor Caltrops – Use this for crowd control, a bit of dmg, and to proc the Powerful Assault buff. Also will debuff the enemy defenses.
    • Alternate Skill:  Venom Arrow – used for interrupting casters, useful in vHRC (upstairs)   and Fang Lair HM.
  • Budding Seeds – Use this to give the group a synergy. It will also put a small heal over time (because it’s Magicka based) Try to cast this once and forget about it, else your Magicka will suffer.
  • Energy Orb – Important skill for giving group members resources. You will not be able to cast this as often as a magicka user, but really 1 or 2 casts every 10 seconds is all that is needed in 4 man dungeons.
  • Growing Swarm: Excellent debuff for mobpacks and Bosses.  Increasing damage on the target by 8% for 10 seconds.
  • Flex Skill
    • Symbiosis – A free heal to use if you need to heal at range and regen Magicka.  Must manually target the ally.
    • Deep Thoughts – A channeled ability to regain Health, Stamina and Magicka over time.
    • Charging Manuever – Used to give the group a speed boost.  Good for doing veteran speed runs and wherever fast movement is needed.
  • ULT – Aggressive Horn – It’s all about the buffs, and procs Powerful Assault.
    • Alternate Skill:  Reviving Barrier can be used in more difficult fights.

Tips & Misc.

  1. Stamina healing is all about being at the right place at the right time. Speed and mobility is king since your Vigor only has a 15m range.
  2. Make sure to keep Betty Netch, Leeching Vines, and Vigor on cooldown as much as possible.
  3. Get Vigor as soon as you can by doing the Cyrodiil opening questline.  This will grant you Assault level 2.  With the Stonethorn changes, Vigor has been moved to the 1 skill in the tree to make it easier to access.
  4. Rely on Healing thicket while leveling as it’s very forgiving of positional mistakes.

How to solo content:

On your backbar, use Caltops, Venom Arrow, and Arrow Barrage with the Wild Guardian Ulimate on front and back bars.  Replace shoes (light), belt(light) and jewelry with the Ancient Dragonguard set and use damage helm of your choosing.  I like Stormfist, but Skoria and Velidreth work well also.

Final Notes

Remember, this is a build guide to help others.  Using these strategies work for ME.  Please use what works for you as you see fit.  ESO is a game about choices.
