Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Stamina Templar DPS PvP Build, the Paladin, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for PvP of all kinds: battlegrounds, Cyrodiil, dueling, and Imperial City. This build can be played in both CP and no-CP pvp without any changes to the build!
This build is a medium armor setup that offers absolutely massive damage. While I do really enjoy heavy armor on my stamina templar, after doing my initial play testing, I think a medium armor build is more my style, and this build fit the bill perfectly. You have good mobility due to being in medium armor, good defenses from having the back bar shield, race choice, Troll King and Evasion, and monstrous damage due to our gear choices. The high weapon damage also gives us really good heals as well. All in all, this is a really well rounded medium armor stamplar setup that will serve you well!
Keep in mind that PvP builds are very personal. This is what worked for ME. If you don’t like something about it, change it to fit your playstyle.

Automaton: This set is perfect for the medium armor stamina templar. Due to the majority of our kit being physical damage, this amplifies our damage by a ton. It’s one of the most popular stamplar pvp damage sets for good reason.
Bone Pirate: For stats and sustain, it’s hard to beat Bone Pirate. You just need to make sure your food/drink buff is a drink to utilize the 5 piece, which we are getting through Dubious Camoran Throne.
Troll King: Amazing self survival set, and adds a lot of additional group utility. This set, combined with your self healing and heavy armor, will make you really hard to kill. If you’re not a fan of Troll King, a great alternative is Blood Spawn.
All points into Stamina.
Main Bar – Two Handed: Biting Jabs, Power of the Light, Binding Javelin, Rally, Stampede, Onslaught
Back Bar – 1h/Shield: Repentance, Extended Ritual, Resolving Vigor, Restoring Focus, Shuffle, Remembrance

Tips & Misc.
- Power of the Light is effectively your execute, and also applies minor fracture. Make sure to keep this up on your opponent, especially when Onslaught is ready.
- This build is tanky due to major evasion, troll king and the Nord passives, but it’s still a medium armor build. Be sure to utilize your dodge roll as effectively as possible to maximize mitigation. Also, if you’re taking a lot of heat, be sure to cleanse yourself, apply vigor, refresh rally and kite around so all of your HoTs/HP Recovery can heal you back up.
- Be sure to always maintain Rally, Restoring and Shuffle to optimize the tankiness and damage the build has to offer.
- One thing you need to get used to as a stamina templar is heavy attacking. While light attack weaving is good when you want to put big damage on an opponent quickly, you will be heavy attacking a lot with a stamplar, so make sure you practice and utilize heavy attacks to their fullest potential.
