Normal Spindleclutch 1

This is the third video of my Dungeon Walkthrough series for the Elder Scrolls Online! The dungeon covered in this video is Spindleclutch 1, which is honestly not all that difficult of a dungeon.  This video will cover everything you could want to know about the dungeon, such as notable gear sets, boss mechanics, and more!

  • Dungeon Name: Spindleclutch 1
  • Zone: Glenumbra
  • Difficulty: Normal
  • Party Composition: 4 (1 tank, 1 healer, 2 dps)
  • Quests: Deadly Whispers
  • Level Unlocked: 10
  • Gear Sets: Prayer Shawl, Spelunker, Knightmare
  • Other (Achievements, Other points of note): Achievement for completing – Spindleclutch 1 Vanquisher
  • Story: The cave you explore during the dungeon is infested with spiders, although something else lurks further within.  In this version of the dungeon, it is your job to help the Fighters’ Guild clear the cave of spiders and eliminate other possible threats.
  • Bosses and Mechanics
    • Spindlekin
      • The boss summons spider adds throughout the fight. Stack on the boss to make these easy to AoE alongside hitting the boss itself.
      • The boss will attempt to devour the corpses of the dead adds to attempt to regain health. Bashing the boss will interrupt this.
    • The Swarm Mother
      • The boss summons adds throughout the duration of the fight. Simply kill these to alleviate pressure on the healer.
      • The boss’s main attack is a melee ranged heavy attack.  The person being attacked by this will want to make sure to block or dodge it.
      • The Swarm Mother will leap at random members of the group from time to time.  Be prepared to possibly be attacked throughout the fight even if the tank is maintaining proper aggro.
    • Cerise the Widow-Maker
      • Cerise is surrounded by trash mobs.  Kill these mobs before dealing with her.  Kill the menders/healers first, deal with the rest of the adds, and then attack the boss.
      • Cerise buffs herself throughout the fight giving herself a damage boost.
      • Cerise has an attack that can immobilize players, and she also has a heavy attack that should be dodged or blocked.
    • Big Rabbu
      • The boss is surrounded by trash mobs.  Kill these mobs before dealing with her.  Kill the menders/healers first, deal with the rest of the adds, and then attack the boss.
      • From time to time Big Rabu will instantly pull a random player to him.
      • Big Rabbu will occasionally charge in a random direction, but his path will be shown by an AoE indicator.  Simply don’t stand in the area to avoid the attack.
    • The Whisperer
      • Randomly will incapacitate a member of the group, stunning and dealing damage.  This should be dodged or blocked if possible.
      • Randomly will shoot a projectile at a member of the group which deals poison damage.  This should be dodged or blocked if possible.
      • Randomly will knock back players who are in melee range.
      • The boss will pull all members of the group toward her and then immediately start casting a strong AoE attack that grows circularly outward from her.  Simply run out of it or dodge roll if you react to slowly to the initial pull, thus putting you out of harms way.
